I logged on today and saw this post left by a niece of one of HMS/M Unbeaten's crewman, Edward Gale. I had to share it, as it pleases me very much that people appreciate my book and also think it is a fitting testament to their departed love ones who are still on patrol onboard HMS/M Unbeaten.
I bought your book Being Silent They Speak, I could not put it down, now I realise how courageous my uncle Edward Gale was along with the rest of the crew aboard Unbeaten. I don't know how many voyages he went on as there is no longer anyone to ask as my Aunt who remarried passed away some years ago. I have done this for her as I know that she never forgot her Ted but I do know that it was his last voyage on Unbeaten. Thank you. Pauline Bronks
Many thanks Pauline I appreciate you taking the time to leave this message.
Yours Aye
